Whoever does the hiring at your shop.

You don't need a compliance background. Pick your role — we'll show what you actually have to do.

Stop being the bottleneck between recruiting and dispatch.

You found the driver. The last thing you should be doing is dialing five previous employers, faxing MVR requests, and rewriting consent forms in a Google Doc.

  • One form launches every check in parallel
  • Driver completes everything from their phone — no portal account
  • SMS + email reminders to the driver, not to you
  • Adverse-action letters generated automatically when needed
  • Hand the cleared file to dispatch in 72 hours

You're hiring yourself. We still build the file.

If you're an owner-operator under your own authority, FMCSA still wants your DQ file. We onboard you exactly the same way we onboard a fleet hire — minus the parts you don't need.

  • Self-onboarding (no recruiter middleman)
  • Pre-employment drug screen scheduled within 4 hours
  • Solo-driver DQ file template (391.51 compliant)
  • Random pool placement same business day
  • Annual review reminders so you don't forget yourself

— Common questions

Things HR usually asks first.

Don't see yours? Call (800) 720-0304 — a real human will answer.

How does the driver actually take the application?
You enter their name and cell number. We text a one-time secure link. The driver fills the application, signs FCRA + FMCSA consents, uploads CDL + med-card photos, and selects a drug-screen site — all from the phone, no account needed. Average completion time on the driver's side: 11 minutes.
What's a DQ file, and why does it have to be 11 documents?
A Driver Qualification file is the binder FMCSA auditors flip through when they show up. 49 CFR 391.51 lists eleven required documents — application, inquiry to prior employers, MVR, annual review, list of violations, road-test certificate, medical examiner's certificate, drug & alcohol pre-employment, Clearinghouse query, PSP, and entry-level driver training certificate. Missing or out-of-order means a finding.
Do you actually call previous employers, or just send forms?
We dial. A real Vertical Identity verifications associate calls every prior DOT-regulated employer in the driver's last 10 years per 391.23(a)(2). If they don't pick up, we dial back. We document attempts. We don't substitute a faxed form for a missing call.
What if the MVR or background check finds something?
We flag it in the pipeline (red bar on the driver card) and pause the file. Your safety lead reviews and decides. If you decline to hire based on a consumer report, we generate the FCRA-compliant pre-adverse and adverse-action letters and handle the 5-business-day waiting period.
Can drivers re-use their file if they change carriers?
Each carrier needs its own DQ file under 391 — but if a driver onboarded with us once, we can re-use validated identity, MVR base data, and historical employment verifications, which typically cuts the second carrier's time-to-cleared in half. Driver consents are required each time.
Do you integrate with our ATS?
Tenstreet, Idelic, Samsara, Motive, EBE Tower, and most major ATS / HRIS platforms via direct integration. Custom integrations via REST API + webhooks (Standard and Enterprise plans). Your account rep handles the kickoff call.

Start a hire in 90 seconds.

Enter the driver's name and cell. We'll do the rest. First three hires are free for new-authority carriers.
